Welcome to John Payne Agricultural Engineers & Machinery Dealers

John Payne’s is a family run business that was established back in 1972. John purchased The Forge in Llangarron where he started repairing agricultural machinery for the local area, slowly growing the business. John started to deal in New and Used Machinery, specialising in the repairs of John Deere machinery. Throughout the years John has been lucky enough to supply and service many brands that have sadly disappeared from the industry like Matbro, Lely, Welger, Marston Trailers.

In 2005 John’s health started to deteriorate forcing him to step back from the everyday running of the business. His son Keith took over and grew the company keeping the same focus as John (to keep the farmers running!)

In January 2023 the Payne family made the decision to move the business to new premises at Much Birch in South Herefordshire as the business had out grown the original site. This new site has enabled John Payne’s to offer a larger range of parts of ATV and tractor parts, clothing, various Agricultural Tools and everyday farming essentials, so please call in for a visit next time you are passing.

We have a well-respected workshop where our onsite engineers are able to deal with repairs and services a lot more efficiently, they are also fully mobile for the urgent infield repairs to help our farming community stay mobile during farming’s demanding seasons.

Being a small family run service we pride ourselves by always being available for all your farming requirements during working hours but most importantly outside of working hours, going above and beyond for our Regular and New Customers. We all know farming does not work to set hours so we are always here to help when you need it!
